NSEF staunchly believes that both promoting social entrepreneurship and equipping social entrepreneurs with the right tools are of the utmost importance to realize our societies and create a long term impact. This calls for a collective approach from various dimensions in society, including industry, foundations/NGOs and great academic institutions. Industry promotes growth and development in the economy; foundations/NGOs make a committment to work at the grassroots level and academic institutions institutions provide a steady supply of energized and enthusiastic youth. NSEF is an initiative to coordinate these so they can brainstorm,collaborate and execute effective solutions.

Today NSEF has established a Center for Social Entrepreneurship at renowned universities like BITS-Pilani and IIM-Lucknow and has successfully conducted national level workshops on Social Entrepreneurship.
